We were delighted to attend our first Jersey Skills Fair, an event dedicated to showcasing the wide range of career opportunities available to young people across the island.
Supporting initiatives like this is incredibly important. They give students the chance to explore different industries, meet employers, and gain a better understanding of the career paths available to them. We were proud to represent the scaffolding industry and demonstrate the exciting opportunities it can offer.
Throughout the day, we spoke to students about careers in scaffolding, the skills required to succeed, and the structured professional pathway available through CISRS training. With plans underway to make CISRS training more accessible for local scaffolders, we are excited about the opportunities this will create for the next generation of industry professionals.

One of the highlights of the event was our scaffold-built exhibition stand, designed by Alex Wareham. It certainly helped us stand out and provided a practical demonstration of the creativity, skill, and versatility involved in our industry.
A huge congratulations must go to Stuart Penn and the entire team at Jersey Skills for organising such a successful event. The effort that went into bringing together employers, educators, and students was evident throughout the day.
We thoroughly enjoyed being part of the Skills Fair and look forward to returning next year, bigger and better than ever.
